A New Era of Athens Rock Lobsters Hockey Arrives May 13th

The Athens Rock Lobsters are preparing to unveil the next chapter of professional hockey in the Classic City.

On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, the organization will host a special “New Era” Press Conference at The Classic Center Atrium in Downtown Athens. The event is free and open to the public, welcoming fans, season ticket holders, sponsors, community partners, and members of Crustacean Nation to be part of a historic moment for the franchise.

Since day one, the Athens Rock Lobsters have been built around the energy, passion, and culture of Athens.
