NASCAR Night Presented by Wild Willies Shifts Into Overdrive with 10 NASCAR Drivers Confirmed

NASCAR Night with the Athens Rock Lobsters just became one of the biggest entertainment events of the year. The team has officially confirmed 10 NASCAR drivers will attend the highly anticipated theme night on Saturday, January 10th at Akins Ford Arena, bringing unmatched star power to a hockey game unlike anything Athens has ever hosted.

Fans can expect an electric atmosphere as the worlds of hockey and horsepower collide under one roof.

From championship contenders to rising stars, NASCAR Night will showcase one of the most diverse and exciting driver rosters ever assembled for a minor league hockey event.

Exclusive Fan Experiences Announced

To make the night even more unforgettable, the Rock Lobsters are launching two new premium fan experiences—both of which will become available early next week when pre-sales open for inventory. You can either purchase now and upgrade next week, or wait as each experience will include with ticket cost and upgrade your currrent ticket package.

Meet & Greet Experience:  Fans will soon be able to upgrade their night with an all-access Meet & Greet that includes pre-game interaction, photo opportunities, and autographs with all attending drivers.

Fast Pass Experience: Fast Pass holders will receive early entry into the arena, giving them priority placement in driver autograph lines. (Limit one signed item per person.)

Both upgrades are expected to sell out quickly once pre-sale opens due to extremely limited inventory.

Introducing the “NasClaw” Collection

In partnership with NASCAR, the Athens Rock Lobsters will unveil their exclusive NasClaw merchandise line, dropping for the first time on January 10th. The team will also take the ice wearing NASCAR-inspired firesuit jerseys, created exclusively for this event. These specialty jerseys will be auctioned off immediately following the game during the Post-Game Jersey Auction. Fans will have the rare opportunity to own a piece of crossover sports history.

Pre-Game Motorsports Fan Zone

Foundry Street will be transformed into a high-octane fan zone featuring:

  • Official NASCAR Cup Series show cars

  • The EchoPark Pacer Car

  • Custom trucks and builds from Wild Willies

  • Featured vehicles from Akins Ford of Winder

This outdoor showcase opens before the game and offers fans a hands-on motorsports experience before they head into the arena for puck drop. With massive demand expected, fans are strongly encouraged to secure tickets or upgrade their experiences as soon as possible.
